Your Show Jumping recorded to show your friends, discuss with your trainer, or add value to your horse, either way a precious addition to your fotografs.
This is a new service available for the Chester Racecourse event where we will have two videografers covering the main show jumping arenas and one covering the Ridden showing on Saturday and the Junior Showjumping on Sunday.
We will endeavour to video every rider in every class including the second rounds and these videos will be available on DVD after the event. We know that the purpose of the video is to see your performance so that you may improve on it or you may use the video to sell the horse, to this end we aim to keep the costs as low as possible.
To create a DVD can be very time consuming and in order to keep costs down these are no frills videos. You will be able to see the videos as they are filmed on a monitor at the van and place orders during the day and later on the internet but you will not be able to view your video before you purchase it. They will not have added music, they will not be edited to remove any problems, they will not have indexes, etc. and we will not add videos to existing DVD's. If you order several classes from the show, unless you specify otherwise they will be put on the the same DVD but they will not be indexed and there will not be titles between each class, they will fade out and fade into the next. The DVD's may be printed on the outside but they may also be handwritten.
To order your video, go to the fotografs and find a fotograf of your horse in the class for which you want the video, and order your video there, do the same for a second round. This ensures we supply the correct video.
To see an example video from indoors at Bold Heath earlier this year please click here. A better quality video will be loaded after Chester if not before.
Terms and Conditions,
DVDs are made to order for specifically for you and therefore cannot be returned.
As we have said you will not be able to view your video before you purchase it, however, if when we are making the DVD we are unhappy with the result, we will tell you of the problem and offer to refund your money. If you ask us to send it anyway it will not be returnable. We will not send out the video on a sale or return basis.
All DVD's will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post and I will get proof of posting, should you not receive your DVD I will send you the Proof of Posting Receipt for you to claim from the Royal Mail. Please then reorder your DVD.
The DVD's will be of the -r type DVD which is the most common type, unfortunately only the mass produced DVDs are guaranteed to work on every DVD player. It might be that the DVD we supply might not work on your player but it will on your neighbours. I am sorry we cannot accept returns in these cases. Should it not work and you return it, it will be retested and if ok on our players returned to you.
When orginally dispatched your DVD will be unmarked, DVD's returned scratched or marked in any way will be returned untested.
